The Iguana is a series of Industrial Unmanaged and redundant Ethernet Switches that come with extended temperature and conformal coating technology. There are two categories ready which are the IUE models and IRE models. IUE stands for Iguana Unmanaged Ethernet switch, and IRE means Iguana Redundant Ring Ethernet switch. IUE models offer a cost-effective wide temperature unmanaged switching solution while IRE models come with Redundant Ring feature. Both IUE and IRE models have wide operating temperature range of -40 to 80 deg C. Ethernet Direct also offers IUE/IRE models with conformal coating MIL-I-46058C standard, which is a protective coating applied to PCBs to prevent the circuitry from damage caused by humidity, moisture, dust, and corrosion when exposed to extreme environments.
