Burkert’s new mxControl multi-parameter controller automates the precise control of process variables within a water treatment system (boiler, cooling or Reverse Osmosis system), by integrating all the control, monitoring, display, and data and event logging functions into one compact, easy- to- configure controller. The mxControl accepts analog inputs from flow, pH, temperature, level, analytical and conductivity sensors, and provides high level computations to optimize the water treatment process. In addition, the controller delivers savings on time, space and equipment costs: one controller hardware specification providing dozens of configuration possibilities, all of which can be quickly downloaded via SD card (supplied) or via USB or optional Ethernet interface

The new FlexDC Motion Controller is a dedicated single or dual axis control and drive unit for use with Nanomotion’s range of high performance ceramic servo motors and positioning stages. Available in the UK from the leading precision motion specialists Heason Technology Limited, the compact desktop controller includes PIV or PID servo control with quadrature or Sin/Cos encoders providing nanometre-level position control with synchronised I/O as well as specific ceramic motor algorithms such as ultra high resolution and dead band compensation to reduce lost motion during reversals.

Ethernet Direct Corporation is pleased to offer IUE-500EC. The Iguana series IUE-500EC is an Industrial 5-port Unmanaged Ethernet Switch positioned as enhanced entry-level switch. It supports IEEE 802.3/802.3u/802.3x with 10/100M, full/half duplex and MDI/MDI-X auto-sensing RJ45 ports. IUE-500EC is designed especially for mission critical and harsh environmental applications since it comes ready with conformal coating and extended temperature of -40 to 80 deg C. The switch performs with 1.4 Gbps high memory bandwidth. For additional protection to address the demands of the environmental conditions, IUE-500EC comes in DIN rail mounted rugged housing and conformal coated protected circuitry with extended temperature tolerance. In addition, the Iguana switches offer Ethernet isolation of 1500 Vrms and frame ground for EMS protection which is not a standard feature in most Industrial Ethernet devices.
