To meet the noise level requirements for a new production line making silencers for DAIMLER heavy goods vehicles, the Eberspächer Company has selected the Technifor Company to apply a Datamatrix Code™ using a scratch marking system. Technifor is a worldwide supplier of automated marking and checking systems for identification and traceability. The marking machine can inscribe natural language markings and Datamatrix Codes™. This new product was recently added to the forty or so TECHNIFOR machines already in service on the EBERSPÄCHER site in Neunkirchen.

ZF Friedrichshafen AG opts for Technifor technology to enhance its internal traceability
As well as improving its processes, ZF intends to combat imitations through its policy of marking parts. It set out to find a partner able to handle various marking technologies, with solutions that provide full quality and considerable flexibility for adaptation to manufacturing changes and progressive implementation of internal traceability. The recent order for 4 micro-percussion marking machines raises to 10 the number of machines acquired by ZF from TECHNIFOR for its factory in Friedrichshafen over the last 2 years. The model selected is the TECHNIFOR CN312SM system. Over one-and-a-half million gearbox parts are thus marked each year using TECHNIFOR equipment.

TF420, a very compact 20W laser marker
With the TF420 fibre laser marking solution, Technifor have brought out a unit that is twice as compact as the previous generations, while keeping the same marking quality level, and providing a writing speed of up to 2.5 m per second, and a skipping speed of up to 5 m/s. It is designed for applications involving medium to large production runs: motor vehicles, medical fields, electrical or mechanical components, etc.
