Electronics Cooling with a difference
Designed for use in MicroTCA applications, the new Compact Cooling Package (CCP) from Rittal has the flexibility and scalability to provide targeted cooling in many rack mounted applications where significant amounts of heat are being generated. Each CCP is capable of removing up to 1200W of heat in an efficient, controlled manner and multiple systems may be distributed within the rack if required.

Although most of Rittal’s AE Compact Enclosure range is rated to IP66, they were not designed to be used as outdoor enclosures. The introduction of stainless steel models improved the protection against moisture and air-borne contaminants which made the enclosures particularly suitable for a wide variety of process control applications.

Rittal has extended its series of secure isolators with the addition of a range of new NH isolators in sizes 00 to 3. Similar in design to the existing RiLine60 series, the new isolator cable outlets can now be changed from top to bottom within seconds. The position of the cable outlet can be decided upon just before assembly, and inventory costs can thus be halved.

Rittal’s EASY Subrack makes assembly quick and effortless
Rittal have released a new easy to fit subrack - Ripac EASY, which has been designed to be installed quickly and effortlessly. An established problem for subrack assemblers has always been the issue of holding the rail, the side panel, the flange, the screw and screwdriver all at the same time. This problem has now been eliminated with Ripac EASY. Simply hold the side plate and flange together while dropping the pre-assembled rail into position, then screw into place. The subrack is supplied as a kit with screws pre-inserted in the ends of the horizontal rails, which just drop into slots in the side panels and front flanges, thus simplifying assembly.
