HaydonKerk Motion Solutions offers superior performance lead screw assemblies with its Kerkote and Black Ice coatings. Designed exclusively for Kerk® components and assemblies and Haydon™ actuator products, these coatings provide permanent lubrication eliminating the need for external lubrication. There are many applications where traditional greases are not appropriate, such as areas where periodic maintenance is difficult or impossible, applications where contamination can’t be tolerated, and clean room environments.

HaydonKerk Motion Solutions introduces the MotoDrive PDE Actuator, available in size 17 single or double stack. The MotoDrive PDE Actuator is an integrated linear actuator and electronic drive designed to operate with optically isolated inputs of pulse, direction and enable signals. The MotoDrive PDE is programmable for micro-stepping ranging from full step mode to 64 micro steps per full step. Step resolution ranges from 200 full steps per revolution to 12,800 steps per revolution when micro-stepping. When combined with the Haydon™ captive, non-captive, or external linear actuator, extremely fine positioning resolutions can be achieved.

The Haydon Linear Rail System uses a precision leadscrew assembly to provide controlled positioning along the axis of a robust linear slide. The Linear Rail System consists of a stationary base with a load bearing carriage that travels along a custom-extruded wear resistant aluminum rail. A Haydon powered Linear Rail System uses either a Haydon size 17 hybrid external linear actuator or for greater performance, an optional size 17 hybrid double stack external linear actuator integrated into the slide for a complete single axis positioning system, or the system may be is provided with various leads and shaft end configurations that accommodate virtually any source of rotary power.

Haydon Switch & Instrument, Inc. (Haydon) is proud to announce that their size 23 hybrid linear actuators are now available with a 0.9 degree step angle. This new step angle is designed for higher resolution and allows for a full step linear movement of 0.0000625” (1.6 microns). Like the 1.8 degree version, this actuator is available in all four designs; captive, non-captive, external linear, and linear rotary. Combined with a stainless steel lead screw, the linear actuator delivers an extremely smooth, precise motion. Haydon’s linear actuators are designed for applications that require long life, reliability, precise positioning and rapid motion.
