Flextraction today announced that they will be represented on the TEKA stand in Hall 6 stand no C117 at the World’s largest welding exhibition ‘Schweissen und Schneiden’ in Essen, Germany from 16th – 21st September 2013.

Flextraction has recently delivered 6 wall mounted fume and dust extraction systems to Weldability-Sif in Letchworth Garden City and Flextraction Installation Engineers installed the equipment in the UK’s first specialist foundation level welder training facility at Stevenage Skills Centre, part of North Hertfordshire College.

Managing Director, Lee Darton from Flextraction Ltd has just arrived back from a UK Export Trade mission to Germany, taking in 7 cities including Cologne, Stuttgart and Dresden, to drum up new business for his Company.

The new “dustoo” mobile high vacuum compact fume extraction and filter unit from Flextraction is designed to be used in medium sized fabrication shops on welding applications both at the point of source using an extraction hood or on a welding gun fitted with an integrated fume extraction nozzle.

Self supporting Hood Positioning Devices, including the Flextractor HPD, Extended HPD, Mini HPD and Flextender HPD from Flextraction Ltd, supplier and manufacturer of Local Exhaust Ventilation products are available with ATEX compliant finishes or stainless steel. They are ideal for food ingredient tipping and drum filling in bakeries and all other food processing and production applications, where dust and fumes are emitted.

The Airfilter IC suction and filter unit, available through Flextraction, removes irritable and harmful gases and fumes generated through the use of solvent inks in modern inkjet printing machines and plotters. It is important that these hazardous gases are removed from the working environment and TEKA’s range of suction and filter units are designed to do this using sensitised carbon filters for maximum absorption capacity. (One gram of this carbon represents a filter area of more than two football pitches).

Flextraction has appointed John Horsey as Product Engineer with special responsibility for the design of new extract/filtration systems to complement the Company’s current product range. John brings with him extensive experience and knowledge in the design of fume and dust extraction systems, having previously been Design and Applications Manager and then Head of Engineering at Purex International.

Flextraction Ltd has designed a new low cost, multi-compartment filter bag with an innovative folded construction, labyrinth, designed to fit into existing laser and solder fume extractors being used on laser, solder and other industrial fume and dust extraction applications.

TEKA’s BGIA 200520840/1140 approved ‘Strongmaster’ mobile cartridge filter unit with either one or two extraction arms for industrial fume extraction is available through Flextraction Ltd, supplier and manufacturer of Local Exhaust Ventilation products for dust and fume extraction. The Strongmaster comes supplied with a separator, durable, de-dustable, large-surface filter cartridge and PTFE laminate and has been specifically designed for the extraction of fumes arising during thermal processing of precious metals.
