Endress+Hauser introduces the Proline Promag L 400 electromagnetic flowmeter for water and wastewater applications. It has an Ethernet port and built-in webserver for easy data access and configuration via any web browser. The industry optimized L sensor has drinking water approvals and corrosion protection that allows it to be installed underwater, underground and in saline environments. Sensors are available in nominal diameters from 2 to 90 in.

Endress+Hauser introduces the Liquiline CM44 Series multichannel transmitter for monitoring and controlling processes in water & wastewater, chemical, power and other industries. CM44 models accept inputs from up to eight Endress+Hauser Memosens digital analytical sensors including nitrate, spectral absorption coefficient, pH, ORP, conductivity, oxygen, turbidity and ion selective electrode sensors.

Endress+Hauser introduces the Proline Prosonic B 200 ultrasonic flowmeter for measuring the flow rate and methane content of wet biogas, landfill or digester gas, and other types of low pressure, wet or contaminated gas. The B 200 designers applied transit time ultrasonic technology, which has been proven in wet, dirty refinery flare gas applications for almost thirty years, improved it and optimized it for biogas applications.

Endress+Hauser releases the Proline t-mass 150 thermal mass flowmeter for measuring gases such as compressed air, nitrogen, carbon dioxide and argon. The flowmeter measures mass flow, gas temperature, free air delivery, and corrected volume—all without the need for pressure or temperature compensation.

Endress+Hauser and Rockwell Automation announce the opening of a new Process Training Unit (PTU) in Philadelphia, PA. The Process Training Unit features Endress+Hauser instruments and the Rockwell Automation PlantPAx process automation system designed for the purpose of educating field technicians, engineers, and sales personnel. The PTU provides a unique learning experience through hands-on activities. Participants learn the application, installation, operation and diagnostic procedures related to many types of process instrumentation and control processes. Various communication protocols are also demonstrated including: EtherNet/IP, HART, PROFIBUS PA, and FOUNDATION Fieldbus.

Endress+Hauser experts will survey a plant, document all installed instruments and analyzers, recommend maintenance and calibration procedures, and provide the plant with a complete instrumentation support package.

Instruments available measure dissolved oxygen, nitrate, ammonium, pH, suspended solids, temperature, air flow rates, air pressures and water levels in aeration basins to provide enhanced and reliable control of a process. Direct measurement of these parameters can drastically reduce energy costs associated with operating aeration basins.

Endress+Hauser officially opened a new Temperature production facility in Greenwood, Indiana, today. The 12,000 sq ft manufacturing plant will build temperature sensors, thermowells, transmitters, recorders, flow computers, safety barriers, displays and other instrumentation to meet the increasing demand for Endress+Hauser instrumentation in North America and South America.

Endress+Hauser introduces the Liquiline CM442, a four-wire, two-parameter transmitter for analytical sensing applications. The Liquiline transmitter accepts data from two sensors and measures any combination of various parameters including but not limited to turbidity/suspended solids, nitrate, SAC (UV254), ISE, dissolved oxygen, pH/ORP, chlorine, concentration and conductivity.

Endress+Hauser is now accredited to ISO17025 by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) for both laboratory and field calibration of process instrumentation. Their new LaPorte Calibration and Service Center in LaPorte, Texas is the main laboratory; the accreditation covers both laboratory calibrations in LaPorte as well as field calibrations at a customer’s location. Endress+Hauser is the only process instrument manufacturer with the ability to provide both lab and field accredited calibrations.

Migrating an agrochemical producer’s existing installed base of pH analyzers to Endress+Hauser’s Memosens and Liquiline technology platforms increased pH data reliability, decreased downtime, and increased production. Substantial savings were realized: Specifically, maintenance labor was reduced by 50% and consumable usage was cut by 60%, producing savings of more than $450,000 per year.

CSF48 automatically acquires liquid samples, stores them under controlled temperatures, and measures parameters such as pH and turbidity for water, wastewater, laboratories and industrial processes.

Endress+Hauser announces the Deltatop differential pressure (DP) flowmeter for measuring gas, liquid and steam in 1/2 to 24-inch pipes.

A mining operation in the U.S. manages leaching fields over a wide and rolling geographic area. The leach fields are regularly relocated, and use movable, temporary piping to deliver leaching chemicals to highly distributed delivery points that must be monitored via flow and pressure instrumentation to optimize operation.

Endress+Hauser announces the availability of its Applicator design tool which helps instrument and control engineers select the appropriate flow instrumentation for various process conditions and for specific wastewater, potable water and cement applications.
