Belden will demonstrate at SPS 2019 how the company can support industrial network designers, installers and managers from sensor to the cloud for applications that save costs and time whilst delivering maximum productivity and up-time. The Belden booth will feature an application wall, highlighting the company’s vision of future industrial communication networks, based on multiple real applications - not just theoretical constructs. 

Signal transmission solutions provider, Belden, has expanded its Lumberg Automation LioN-Power IO-Link System to help industrial manufacturers address fast-growing Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) connectivity needs through simplified device automation. New updates to the LioN-Power family offer maximum versatility and cost-effectiveness.

  Once again, Belden will be present as an exhibitor in Hall 10 / Stand 120-121 at the SPS IPC Drives show in Nuremberg, Germany from the 27th to 29th November 2018.

  Belden will be at SPS IPC Drives 2018 in Nuremburg booth 120-121 in hall 10, and will be highlighting how the company can support customers’ drive to build tomorrow’s network in today’s applications. One key aspect is a step-by-step approach move into digitalisation. 

The manufacturer of networking, connectivity and cable products, Belden who work in signal transmission solutions for mission-critical applications, were exhibiting at SPS Drives 2017 with a lot of solutions to showcase to the 70,000 visitors who also attended the show. Electronic Specifier went along to the Belden booth, which was a platform for the latest IIoT innovations and experience the newest products and solutions for industrial communication the company had to offer.

Belden will demonstrating at SPS/IPC/Drives 2017 in Nuremberg how the company can deliver connectivity solutions that will help to leverage the benefits of the Internet of Things (IoT). In addition, the Belden team will present a number of new products and technologies from its Belden, Hirschmann and Lumberg Automation product ranges designed to enhance the productivity of industrial systems and machines.

Releasing the latest version of the Hirschmann network management software, Belden aims to improve on reliability, security and productivity. Industrial HiVision 7.0 improves productivity by now allowing the simultaneous configuration of hundreds of devices from any manufacturer that is enabled with Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP). 

Selected to supply an integrated, flexible and ruggedised industrial connectivity solution for a German textile machinery manufacturer, Belden has worked with the system integrator h.team, their customer and machine builder Erhardt + Abt, to develop a fully-automated robot system that could be moved to any operations location without requiring modifications.

Belden has highlighted how Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) is essential to the future of automation networks. Belden showcased TSN using Hirschmann’s RSP series of Ethernet switches and TSN configuration using the Hirschmann Industrial HiVision network management system at SPS/IPC/Drives 2016 in Nuremberg. 

Belden is involved in Smart FactoryKL and other initiatives aimed at realising the vision of Industry 4.0. Since 2009, the company has made important contributions in the IEEE 802.1 working group task force for Time-Sensitive Networks (TSN), toward the standardisation of a networking solution for applications with high real-time requirements.

A new test laboratory established to meet the increasing demand for closer geographical support from Automotive OEMs and their suppliers - with a focus on the Volkswagen (VW) group has been opened in Wolfsburg Germany by Belden and its strategic partner Askom kommunikationstechnik, a specialist in communication technology.

Belden has introduced the latest version of its Hirschmann Security Operating System known as HiSecOS. With the HiSecOS Version 2.0, customers are offered greater levels of insight into network data, as well as the ability to more easily create network routes and connect to multiple secure sites.

Belden announces The"Next" Industrial Revolution, a free panel discussion on Oct. 23 in the Living World at the Saint Louis Zoo. The event, hosted by the St. Louis Business Journal, will feature Belden President and Chief Executive Officer John Stroup. Stroup will be joined by Graybar Chairman, President and CEO Kathy Mazzarella, who will address supply chain logistics and efficiencies.

The SPS/IPC/Drives exhibition in Nuremberg (Nov 26-28) will provide the platform for Belden to show its full range of industrial solutions including innovations to enhance the productivity of systems and machines as well as offer new innovations from its Belden, Hirschmann and Lumberg Automation product ranges.
