Banner Engineering Corp. introduces the new R58B Series Expert Registration Mark Sensor, the latest addition to the company’s line of registration mark sensors. The R58B provides the same high-performance detection and outstanding color contrast sensitivity of the R58E, in addition to a simplified teach process. TEACH is performed quickly via a single-click on the TEACH push-button on the sensor or via remote input. TEACH allows the sensor to “learn” the light and dark sensing conditions, based on user inputs, and then can automatically adjust the sensitivity to place the operating threshold midway between threshold for the light and dark condition. By reducing the complexity and increasing the speed of teaching the mark and the background, the R58B reduces operator training and product change over time.

The AG4 Safety Laser Scanner uses pulses of Class 1 infrared laser light to locate the position of objects in its field of view, effectively protecting personnel by safeguarding both stationary and mobile hazards within a user-designated area.

Banner Engineering Corp. introduces the WLS28 Work Light Strip, a low-profile, energy-efficient lighting solution for industrial control cabinets and work cells. The WLS28 is a solid-state LED work light intended to provide bright, long-lasting illumination inside enclosures and other areas with poor lighting conditions. With a robust, yet slender aluminum housing, the WLS28 Work Light Strip consumes a minimal footprint in areas where space is at a premium. Models are available in various lengths from 145mm (5.7) to 1130mm (44.5), all of which share the same narrow width of 28mm (1.1).

Banner Engineering Corp. introduces the EZ-LIGHT™ K80 Call Light, designed to optimize productivity in flexible manufacturing environments. The K80 Call Light is a simple solution for keeping parts bins stocked and the assembly line productive: It emits a flashing red signal from a large 50 mm dome—visible from 180 degrees—to notify stocking personnel when parts bin supplies must be replenished. This notification ensures parts bins are refilled before supplies are gone, allowing assembly and manufacturing line operators to sustain production.
