SOUTHERN MANUFACTURING 2012, 15th & 16th February, Farnborough
In previous years at Southern Manufacturing, TRUMPF has focused on its leadership in laser technology for product marking. The 2012 event will be no exception but in addition the company will also demonstrate its prowess in precision bending with one of its outstandingly productive TruBend machines.
The first to introduce industrial diode-end-pumped marking lasers, TRUMPF has made laser marking fast, economical and reliable. Its lasers are now used to mark anything from solar cells to apples and ICs to aircraft parts. TRUMPF marking lasers are divided into OEM systems and plug-and-play workstations, both of which are complemented by TruTops Mark software, that enable the technology to be optimally tailored to suit the task.

The entire TruMark product range is modular. Standard modules with the fundamental functions needed by every marking system are complemented by those with special features for different tasks. This concept enables TRUMPF to provide cost-efficient and service-friendly markers that are optimally designed to suit the application and that can be upgraded at any time.

Two TRUMPF TruMark laser marking machines will feature at the show. The TruMark 5020 with diode-pumped fibre laser combines high power, high repetition rates and variably definable pulse duration. It is designed for tough applications requiring high power and short cycle times.

Also on display will be the TruMark Station 1000 desktop laser system with a TruMark 3130 marking laser.

Available with three different laser wavelengths to suit a wide range of applications, the TruMark 6000 Series is particularly well-suited to marking metal components in automotive, aerospace and medical device manufacture.

TRUMPF will demonstrate its TruMark Station 5000 with the TruMark 5020 fiber marking laser. This plug-and-play system is extremely compact and can be operated in a standing or seated position. It can also be equipped with linear axes in x and y directions and rotary axes with various clamping options.

More than 10,000 TRUMPF TruBend press brakes have been installed around the world and their popularity is primarily due to their ease of use, precision and productivity. The TruBend 7036 is a good example of what’s available. Thanks to its high speed and acceleration of the beam and backgauge, this is one of the world’s fastest bending machines.
