The hardware part of the package, the Panasonic GN series, are elegant black frame units equipped with 7” to 15” TFT screens that offer brilliant, vivid and life-like displays in 262,144 colours, with resolution of up to 1024x768 pixels and a brightness of 400cd/m2(max.) Offering the key user benefit of IP65 ingress protection from the front, each GN series PC has an analogue resistance screen that responds flawlessly to the touch.

Optimising the leading edge Panasonic hardware, the Movicon CE™ software is a runtime engine for Windows CE that offers HMI solutions powerful and open. Employing just one development platform, Movicon XML projects can be run on Win32, Win64 or WinCE – irrespective.

Movicon™ CE provides almost all of the graphics functionality of full Movicon™ 11 SCADA, but with a noticeable increase in data visualisation capability, which is considerably superior to any other HMI software.

Not only does Movicon™ CE have unmatched graphics, all the system’s capabilities allow the user to go beyond simple HMIs, with features such as powerful Alarm Management, Historical log management with relational DB integration, Trends, Data Analysis, Schedulers, IP Camera, Recipes in DB, VBA Scripts, dispatching E-mails and SMS, Web Client.
