The requirement was for the application of body and back patch labels, with an optional lollipop label where the tag is secured beneath the body label to provide a ‘tamper evident’ facility. The main brand bespoke designed glass container comprises circular rims top and bottom, encompassing a non-symmetrical oval body shape. Mechanical orientation of the glass container is necessary for accurate label placement and has been accommodated via base notch orientation, with a throughput speed of 500cpm being achieved.

High accuracy covering label positioning can be maintained, with respect to location and squareness / skew etc., conducive to the level of precision work required with high quality goods.
