WEISS UK had a Record Year in 2008

The UK operation has seen a steady growth over the previous 7 years as the WEISS reputation for quality, reliability and performance has spread across new customers and new markets. Continued growth has also been aided by the ongoing introduction of new generation products such as the LS280 high speed linear indexing system, the HP140 freely programmable handling unit and the CR Series range of Heavy Duty Indexers.

Another important milestone for 2008 has been the introduction of the CR Series heavy duty indexer range into General Motor’s Vauxhall Plant in Ellesmere Port. WEISS received an order for over 30 of these freely programmable heavy duty units, representing a significant investment in WEISS equipment which is in addition to the record turnover achieved for domestic sales.
