Silent Knight by Honeywell has expanded its U.S. tour of FREE fire alarm technology and code seminars following numerous requests from engineers, AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction) and facility managers seeking accredited education on code requirements and fire alarm technology. The half-day seminars will qualify attendees for 4.5 CPDs (Continuing Professional Development) units.
Half-Day Seminars for Fire Alarm Specifiers and Designers Offer CPDs
Each seminar will cover the major changes incorporated in the 2010 version of NFPA-72 National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code and their application to the design, installation and testing of fire alarm systems. Real-world applications and the technology behind today's advanced fire alarm networks, detection devices and audio intelligibility solutions will be presented by fire protection experts from Silent Knight and System Sensor. Honeywell Analytics will also cover t he function of gas and flame detectors and their cost-effective and environmentally-friendly benefits.
Over 500 architects, engineers, AHJs and Silent Knight Farenhyt Distributors attended our free, educational seminars. We provided valuable information about new technologies and the latest NFPA codes and standards. The interest in the seminar was so great, many are already asking us back to present next year, exclaims Mike Fischer, Silent Knight's V.P. of sales. I think the popularity of this seminar is due to the fact we pack a lot of new and practical information into four hours and provide both CEUs and professional development credits.
