Pailton GmbH, part of the UK-based Pailton Engineering group, has won a contract with AGCO Netherlands to supply parts which are vital to the industry-leading boom stability of a new crop sprayer. The contract worth €20,000 (£16,600) a year is for the manufacture of track rods, including ball joints, for AGCO’s all new Challenger-branded Rogator 600 crop sprayer.
A key feature of the new agricultural machinery is the stability of the swing out booms which carry the spray nozzles, which has been achieved with an innovative symmetrical and asymmetrical suspension.
The Pailton GmbH parts, manufactured at its Schlϋchtem plant, are a vital part of the mechanism which stabilises the swing-out booms, thus increasing the accuracy of crop-spraying.

John Nollett, Managing Director of Pailton Engineering, based in Coventry, UK, said: “We are delighted that Pailton GmbH has won this prestigious contract with AGCO Netherlands to supply parts for one of its ground-breaking designs.

“Like AGCO, Pailton GmbH takes pride in engineering excellence and innovative solutions and we look forward to a long and productive relationship with them.”
