The Quality Management System is applicable to ODL’s services of project management, design engineering and consultancy comprising of structural, naval architecture, mechanical, piping, electrical & instrumentation works associated with offshore, oil & gas industry, marine facilities and vessels. It also extends to cover consultancy on construction support engineering, load out, transportation, mooring, lifting, float-over and installation of offshore structures.
LRQA assess a company’s management systems to ensure that the business is meeting objectives whilst constantly evolving in a competitive industry. As an impartial agency, it made several visits and compiled multiple assessments of Offshore Dynamics’ office before providing accreditation to ISO 9001:2008 standard, deemed to reflect one of the highest standards of the industry for this type of consultancy services.
Nandakumar Kunnanchath, general manager of ODL, explains that the new ISO 9001:2008 standards were first introduced into ODL’s operational procedures late last year. “Thanks to the determination and hard work of our engineers & designers along with the strong support of the administrative staff the new Quality System was fully implemented and certified in just nine months,” said Nandakumar.
