IPC’s Validation Services Program has awarded an IPC/WHMA-A-620 QML (Qualified Manufacturers Listing) to ISC Engineering, LLC’s Chino, California facility.
The ISC Engineering facility successfully completed an intensive audit to IPC/WHMA-A-620, Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies. The site met or exceeded the requirements for the electronics industry’s most rigorous classification, Class 3, which is intended for high-performance electronics assemblies. As a result, the company will be listed as an IPC-trusted source capable of manufacturing products in accordance with industry best practices. ISC Engineering can be found on IPC’s QML/QPL (Qualified Products List) database.
“We see the benefit of certification to both our company and to our customers. The certification provides an additional and important contribution to quality and the company’s success,” said Steve Burk, President of ISC Engineering, LLC. “We are very pleased to have successfully certified our processes and earned the IPC/WHMA-A-620 Qualified Manufacturers Listing status under IPC. ISO 9001 gives us confirmation of our management system and IPC/WHMA-A-620 is our confirmation of processes and best practices for high-performance electronic assemblies”.
ISC Engineering has joined the growing number of electronics companies finding value and participating in IPC’s Validations Services QML/QPL Program. This program, launched in 2014, to develop and promote supply chain verification, provides auditing and certification of electronics companies’ products and processes which conform to IPC standards.
“ISC Engineering has differentiated itself from the competition by achieving this certification. They have proven their dedication to consistent high quality by complying with IPC standards and this positions the company for success,” said Randy Cherry, IPC Director of Validation Services. “We are pleased to recognise ISC Engineering in achieving the QML certification to IPC/WHMA-A-620.”
