Having undergone substantial growth since their inception in 2017, Ignys has had a whirlwind of a year, from moving into its new home on Nottingham Science Park in March 2020 to being shortlisted for 4 Midlands Awards.
Stephen Keetley has a strong background in R&D in the world of electronics and was brought on board after previously working alongside Ignys MD, Richard Fletcher. His inclusion in the team will drive a quality focus for the technical delivery side of the business, ensuring further team capacity and capability growth is sustainable. It will also allow him to coach the Ignys engineers on a 1-to-1 basis and bring new ideas to the table and provide clients with clear plans and regular updates on progress.
Keetley said: “I’m looking forward to getting stuck into the technical projects and helping the Ignys engineers and customers alike.”
Richard Fletcher, Ignys MD added: “Stephen will add further organisation and professionalism to the technical side of work on client projects. The clear focus Stephen brings to the table will allow us to provide exceptional quality in our services and deliver projects in a streamlined way. I am very keen to utilise his experience to bring innovative solutions to our engineering function and further expand our vast range of customer services as we evolve.”
Ignys have also expanded their management team to four people in preparation for their plans to double in size over the next year from a team of five engineers to ten.
The appointment of Stephen Keetley comes at the same time as Ignys have launched their new referral scheme offering a free day of engineering to the referrer and referred parties.
