Former CTO and co-founder of McLaren Software sees Cadac Organice in the best position to be the major player in Engineering Document Management and Collaboration
Cadac Organice, a Microsoft Gold ISV Partner and developer of SharePoint-based solutions for Engineering Document Management and Control, announces today that David Parry, former CTO and co-founder of McLaren Software, has joined Cadac Organice.

David Parry, previously CTO and co-founder of McLaren Software, was instrumental in the development of the Enterprise Engineer product range. He also played a significant role in business development, working closely with the sales team to generate revenue and is a recognized speaker on engineering information management at conferences around the globe.

Before helping to setup McLaren Software David Parry was as a principal engineer at a leading marine engineering company. His career path has given him a detailed understanding of how large engineering projects and assets are managed as well as a deep understanding of information technology and software development. This has given him a unique blend of skills and experience that will help shape the future of the Organice product suite.

Jan Baggen, CEO of Cadac Group commented: “David brings extensive experience in the field of engineering and construction, and understands how to support these industries with solutions for document management and control. With David we further expand our global team and grow our expertise as a leader in Engineering Solutions on SharePoint.”

On his new appointment David Parry says: “I am very excited about joining Cadac Organice at this stage in its development. With so many engineering companies adopting Microsoft SharePoint as a standard for collaboration and information management Cadac Organice is in the best position to be the major player in this market. The traditional ECM platforms have become too expensive and difficult to implement resulting in high cost of ownership for the customer. They have also struggled to keep pace with Web 2.0, the Cloud and related technologies. Building the Cadac Organice product suite on the SharePoint platform reduces costs for the customer while at the same time allowing Cadac Organice to deliver the capabilities that are expected of a modern information management and collaboration solution.”
