Applied Analytics, Inc. of Concord, MA USA has seen a spectacular 2009. We have posted double-digit growth in a recessed economy while many other companies have either remained at 2008 levels or have seen lower revenues. In the past year, AAI has made significant achievements in new product development and expanded successfully to key markets, a trend we will continue in 2010.

We are the best in the world at what we do and we have been doing it for eighteen years. Our core competency remains detection and process measurement, offering simultaneous control of multiple compounds through full spectrum UV-VIS and IR absorbance technology.

AAI is the technology leader in sulfur recovery process control with installations across the globe and in the harshest environments possible. Through performance in the field, our TLG-837 tail gas analyzer and OMA-300 analyzers have built a widespread reputation of unrelenting reliability, ease of use, and very low cost of ownership. More and more companies in need of efficient process analysis and control are depending on AAI as we continue to improve our products and evolve our monitoring technology.

Keeping with our tradition of technology leadership, AAI has developed the next generation spectrophotometer: NOVA-2. Building upon the field-proven industry standard NOVA-1, we have increased sensitivity and enabled web-based diagnostics while maintaining the solid reliability our analyzers are known for. This past year also saw the release of the new TDL-506 oxygen analyzer, a device which deploys VCSEL laser technology for exceptional oxygen measurement in extremely demanding applications.

AAI has seen wide success in key markets such as Brazil, the US, Japan, and the Persian Gulf. Some of the world s largest petrochemical and chemical corporations trust the AAI brand to control their critical industrial processes. Much of our business is through repeat customers, but we continue to look for challenging applications with new partners.

Internally, we have continued to improve ourselves through ISO-9000 and ATEX certifications. At AAI, we have refocused our commitment to global service by growing our Sales and Service structures and adding distance learning capabilities.
