The expected keynote presenters are:

• Kinya Ishibashi, ClassNK - Ship Structure Evaluation Tool Based on HyperWorks
• Gennaro Monacelli, CNH - Product Development and Innovation Process Based on the Extensive Usage of CAE/PLM Technologies
• Andrea Pontremoli, Dallara - Chasing the Excellence: Product Development and Innovation Through Advanced Engineering and Systems Simulations at Dallara Automobili

• Anthony Hähnel, Renault - Optimization Driven Design at Renault – an Innovative Approach to Lighter and More Efficient Powertrain
• Franck Mouriaux, Ruag Space - Engineering Process Improvement for S/C Structures at RUAG Space using HyperWorks

“We have changed the name of our conference from HyperWorks Technology Conference to Altair Technology Conference, to cover the whole bandwidth of Altair’s solutions and to address an even broader audience,” said Dr. Michael Hoffmann, Senior Vice President; European Operations, Altair Engineering. “This results in a wider topic range, which now also covers Cloud Computing, business analytics, product design, and more. This topic expansion is in line with new technology trends throughout industry and is also reflected in our keynote presentations and our technical sessions. I’m very much looking forward to this year’s presentations since they cover an even broader range of industries and Altair solutions than in previous years.”

Altair expects the 6th European ATC to bring together more than 500 European engineers and engineering managers from across industry. With more than 100 keynote and technical presentations, split between 3 keynote and 18 technical sessions, attendees will gain insight into a wide range of topics such as Cloud Computing, Business Analytics, structural analysis, optimization, CFD, lightweight design, product design, process automation, and more. Furthermore, attendees will have the opportunity to attend “Meet the Expert” sessions during which they will hear the latest news about all Altair solutions as well as Altair’s future product development plans.

The three-day event will kick-off on April 22nd with three technical seminars and the Academic Day, a user’s conference for the educational market. This year’s seminars will focus on HyperWorks applications in powertrain development, Multibody System Simulation with HyperWorks, and Automatic Report Generation. The conference will be completed by a technical showcase in which the following hardware, software and service partners will present their solutions: AlphaStar, ATA, Cassadian, E4, EOS, Eurotech, e-Xstream, FLUIDON, Key-to-metal, Multimech, Nafems, Part Engineering, Quantech, Scientific Computing World, SGI, Software Cradle/Flourem, and Thermo Analytics Inc.

This year’s Platinum Sponsor of the conference is HP/Intel, the Gold Sponsor of the conference is: nCode/HBM.
