Solid state electric actuators include high functionality

 

The new EA15 electric actuator has been added by GF Piping Systems to its recently introdcued Type EA25-250 Electric Actuator Series. The new EA15 is suitable for smaller diameter, open/close ball valve applications in chemical processing, refrigeration and water treatment.

Key features included in the standard package are: open/close limit switches, easy-to-read 7-segment error code display, adjustable internal heating element and chemically resistant polyproplyene housing. An optional fail-safe battery backup is also available. 

The EA15 utilises an ISO 5211 universal mounting pattern and carries certifications for Vibration Testing under EN 60068-2-6, manufacturing under ISO9001 for Quality, and Environmental Management under ISO14001. 

Designed to operate quarter turn valves, the EA15 actuator delivers a nominal torque of 10Nm and a peak torque of 20Nm.  Clearly displayed LED indicators enable fast and easy reading of valve position and actuator status at a glance - whether in low light conditions or from a distance.

He continued: "Like the previously launched actuators in the family, the EA15's easy set-up and operation, along with being a true drop-in replacement, make it an attractive solution for actuating GF as well as other manufacturers' valves."
