Sherborne Sensors supports mineshaft inspection breakthrough

Sherborne Sensors has announced that its DSIC inclinometers and A323 accelerometers are being used to provide highly-accurate, geo-reference position data as part of an innovative automated mineshaft inspection technology. Based on LiDAR technology and high-resolution photography, the Mobile Shaft Scanning System being developed by Canada’s Sight Power Inc. combines three core elements – Lasers, Global Positioning System, and Inertial Navigation Systems – promising substantial savings and improvements in safety.

Sherborne Sensors achieves AS9100C certification for precision Inclinometers, Accelerometers and Force Transducers

Sherborne Sensors has successfully completed AS9100 Rev C certification, the internationally recognized quality management system for commercial aviation, space and defence organizations. The AS9100 standard includes the fundamental ISO9001 quality management standard, as well as nearly 100 additional requirements specifically designed to address the stringent, complex and unique demands of the defence and commercial aerospace industry and has recently been completely revised to Rev C.

Sherborne Sensors re-launches DSIC Digital Servo Inclinometers

Sherborne Sensors has re-launched its DSIC digital servo inclinometers due to continued demand from its customers and the wider market. The DSIC Series is a range of single and dual axis gravity referenced digital output servo inclinometers with total error band of less than 0.08 degrees over a temperature range of -4° to +158°F.

Sherborne Sensors expands product range with Gravity-Referenced Tri-Axial Inclinometer

Sherborne Sensors announces the T835 Series, a high precision, gravity referenced, tri-axial inclinometer, designed for application in physically challenging and space constrained environments. Available in angular ranges ±14.5° to ±60° and measuring just 25.4mm in diameter, the T835 is manufactured from aerospace quality stainless steel making it extremely robust and ideal for measurement in confined areas such as borehole applications and seismic studies. The inclinometer can also survive and operate in extremes of temperature, ranging from -4 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit.

Sherborne Sensors Debuts Series T435 DC-Operated High Precision Servo Inclinometers for Space Constrained Application Environments

Sherborne Sensors has announced the North American launch of Series T435, a single axis, high-precision, closed loop gravity referenced servo inclinometer family, designed for down-hole logging applications, or for use in areas where space is at a premium. With a form factor measuring only 1.6 in. (40.6mm) high and less than 1.46 in. (37mm) in diameter, sensors can be stacked for simultaneous X & Y measurement of tilt angles.
