When Kosme looked to adopt a new SCADA/HMI standard platform to provide control and visualisation for its new Flypack shrink wrapping machine, it turned to the XML-based Movicon SCADA package, supplied in the UK by Products4Automation.

Premier Foods, Chivers Hartley Division of Cambridge have specified a Kosme machine for the high speed labelling of their quality jams and preserves. The versatile machine is one of the Kosme Merkur modular range which has initially been set up for wet glue label application. It has replaced a competitors labelling machine which was unable to maintain the production standards set by the company.

The latest labelling machine to be launched by Kosme is their Rollstar roll-feed hot melt machine. This has been specifically developed for low to medium sized labelling operations, with an attractive price, designed to enable smaller operators to compete against larger service providers having access to high-speed, roll-fed labelling machines.
