Canary Labs announces Canary Enterprise Historian version 9. Providing scalability without requiring special computing software, Canary Enterprise Historian works for applications ranging from 100 tags to over one million. Accommodating simple, small systems to complex, large systems, the historian software and tools provide an ideal solution for collecting, storing, managing and validating data from any source in the communication sector that meets the OPC DA (Data Access) specification.

Canary Labs announces the release of the Trend Historian 8.0 which will ease the task of collecting, storing, managing, and automatic validation of huge quantities of time series data to partners and end-users.

InfoLink Process Historian from Canary combines several software packages, including Canary’s Trend Historian and Trend Link software, Software Toolbox’s symbol library, and optional XLReporter from SyTech, to provide a real-time and historical view of a process. With just a few keystrokes, an operator can call up historical data from any point in the past, and review trends, HMI screens and reports exactly as they occurred.

Canary Labs’ latest release of Trend Historian (Version 7.0) eases the tasks of collecting, storing, managing, and automatic validation of unlimited quantities of information to end-users. Many tasks are now automatically provided to manage the data files. Collection files can be compressed into daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly files with no data loss. Time-series data is stored and retrieved in its original resolution. The data can be archived and moved automatically to other systems with the proper disk capacity on the network while still providing immediate access to this data for the users. The Trend Historian also provides continuous background validation of data files to insure data integrity.
