Fluke adds new models to its latest range of thermal imagers

Positioned between the entry-level Ti100 and the higher specification Ti110 and TiR110, the new Fluke Ti105 Thermal Imager is designed for plant maintenance and troubleshooting technicians, industrial and commercial technicians, HVAC/R professionals and electricians who need to maintain and inspect electrical and mechanical equipment and components, while the Fluke TiR105 is for facilities managers, building inspection and energy audit professionals evaluating and reporting insulation problems, air leakage, moisture issues, or construction defects. Weighing just 0.73kg, each thermal imager is light and balanced to sit perfectly in the hand. All buttons are within gloved-thumb reach and the imager is light enough to aim either vertically or horizontally and to use for long stretches without tiring.

The new Fluke Ti105 and TiR105 feature IR-Fusion technology, Fluke’s patented-technology which blends digital and infrared images into a single image to precisely document problem areas. They come complete with SmartView professional IR analysis and reporting software, a professional suite of analysis and reporting tools for viewing, annotating and editing infrared images. Also included are an adjustable hand strap for left or right handed use, an SD memory card, a USB cable for PC image download, a lithium ion removable and rechargeable smart battery, an AC charger/power supply with mains adapter for battery charging and AC operation, a hard carrying case, a soft transport bag and manuals.

The higher-end Fluke Ti110, Ti125, TiR110, and TiR125 thermal imagers feature extra breakthrough capabilities including IR-OptiFlex focus system, which offers automatic focusing with a manual focus option for close-ups; IR-PhotoNotes annotation system, which allows the capture of up to three digital photos per thermal image file, enabling the exact recording of equipment models, nameplates and other useful information; voice annotation; and multi-mode video recording, which allows the user to record focus-free video in visible light and infrared with full IR-Fusion capabilities - the user can monitor processes over time, troubleshoot frame-by-frame, and create infrared video reports; and electronic compass capture, helping to track the location of a problem.
