The compact USB-1208HS-XXX is a multifunction, high-speed, measurement and control device supported under the popular Microsoft® Windows® operating systems.
The lightweight, low-cost devices are targeted at applications requiring high-accuracy measurement repeatability and high throughput. The USB-1208HS family has three variants including two channel and four channel isolation capabilities.
The USB-1208HS-XXX range features eight single-ended or four differential 13-bit analogue inputs, with a sample rate of 1 MS/s. The USB1208HS-2AO has two 12-bit, ±10 V analogue outputs; the USB1208HS-4AO has four 12-bit, ±10 V analogue outputs. The input ranges available are ±10 V, ±5 V, ±2.5 V or 0 to 10 V when in single-ended mode. In differential mode, the ranges are ±20 V, ±10 V, or ±5 V.
A digital trigger lets you start analogue input or output conversions.
The USB-1208HS-XXX also includes two 32-bit counters that can count TTL pulses and one 32-bit PWM timer output.
The USB-1208HS-XXX range is BUS powered by the +5 volt USB supply from your computer and requires no additional external power sources. All I/O connections are made to the screw terminals located along each side of the device.
Software included with the USB-1208HS-XXX is extensive, including TracerDAQ®, a full-featured, data logging, viewing, and analysis application; Universal Library™, programming libraries and drivers for most popular Windows-based programming languages; Universal Library for LabVIEW™, VIs and program examples for LabVIEW; InstaCal™ installation, calibration and test utility; and support for DASYLab®, icon-based data acquisition, graphics, control and analysis software and Measurement Studio MCC Edition, Visual Studio 2005/2003 components and controls optimised for test, measurement, analysis and presentation.
