Fluke has introduced the Fluke TiR1 and TiR Thermal Imagers, designed as affordable and complete solutions for building diagnostic and roofing professionals, and restoration and remediation specialists. Both models incorporate IR Fusion®, a patent-pending technology that integrates infrared and visual (visible light) images in full screen or picture-in-picture views for enhanced problem detection and analysis.

Built to withstand harsh work environments, and starting at under £3k, the new thermal imagers are designed as a complete, effective and easy-to-use thermal imaging solution for everyday troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical installations, electro-mechanical and process equipment, HVAC/R units and other industrial and electrical equipment.

Gamewell-FCI, part of the Honeywell Life Safety group, has released FocalPoint Mobile, a new wireless tablet PC that allows users to monitor multiple fire alarm systems in real-time. Providing information in text or graphic detail via CAD-type drawings, this wireless tablet enables facility managers, security personnel and emergency responders to quickly evaluate an emergency event and make prompt, informed decisions.

Endevco Corporation has announced introduction of the Endevco model 4999 low-pass filter signal conditioner, the first in the industry with individual input ground isolation to eliminate ground loops often encountered with multiple channel measurements. The new model 4999 is particularly well suited for applications such as rotating machinery test cells and the nuclear services industry where a very low noise floor is required, among others.

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. announces the launch of Biodiesel GC Productivity Solutions for EN/ASTM Gas Chromatography (GC) methods. Designed as a comprehensive set of solutions, the Thermo Scientific Biodiesel GC Productivity Solutions are the only packages available on the market capable of providing this level of integration and productivity for the three most commonly applied GC-based methods: EN 14103 for Fatty Acid Methyl Ester (FAME) characterization and linolenic acid methyl ester determination; EN 14105 / ASTM D6584 for free and total glycerine content; EN 14110 for methanol content.
