Miniature sensor designed for precise detection in small spaces

Miniature sensor designed for precise detection in small spaces
Banner Engineering has announced the release of VS8 Series miniature sensors for precise detection in applications with extremely limited space. Sensors in the VS8 Series have a space-saving form factor (21.1x14.6x8mm) for use in confined spaces and near moving parts. They are available in red laser, red LED, or blue LED models with opposed, retroreflective, adjustable, or fixed-field background suppression sensing modes. This versatility allows companies to match the sensing technology to the application.

Sensors determine correct positioning for Industry 4.0

Sensors determine correct positioning for Industry 4.0
Detecting objects in systems is such an important part of the automation industry. Objects have to be reliably detected and measured, as well as verifying that they are correctly positioned. The scope of possible applications is almost limitless and is continuously expanding (for example, detecting valve and flap positions, the position of PV panels for optimal exposure to light, the position of a ship's rudder, and automation tasks in the machine-tool industry.)

Liquid level sensor meets repeatability requirements

Liquid level sensor meets repeatability requirements
Using highly viscous materials in manufacturing processes can become a sticky situation in more ways than one. Clogged float mechanisms, blocked fill ports, masked windows and solid material build up on moving floats often result in sticking floats and frozen outputs along with inaccurate readings and costly maintenance and down-time.

Condition sensor now has 17 thread mounting options

Condition sensor now has 17 thread mounting options
A major cause of breakdowns in hydraulic and lubrication oil systems is fine and coarse particle contamination, and therefore continuous real-time oil debris monitoring plays a crucial role in developing a predictive maintenance strategy. The 4212 Oil Condition Sensor offers 4 types of measurement outputs and with no specialist knowledge required to analyse the outputs, the sensor offers a low cost of ownership.
