  The initial keynote presentations and overall agenda for Altair's 2018 Global Altair Technology Conference, taking place at the Palais des Congrès d’Issy in Paris, France from 16th-18th October, has been announced. 

MACH 2018 was victorious at the Trade Association Forum (TAF) Best Practice Awards and Dinner 2018. Shortlisted in the category of exhibition of the year, MACH 2018 took the top prize. Now in its sixteenth year the Trade Association Forum (TAF) Best Practice Awards recognise, rewards and promotes best practice amongst Trade Associations in the UK. The annual event formally supported by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.

At this year’s AMB exhibition (Stuttgart, 18th-22nd September), Sandvik Coromant intends to show how customers and partners can achieve significantly higher productivity levels, more flexible machining processes and more sustainable production under the strapline ‘Shaping the future together’. 

This year’s Tip-Ex exhibition in Harrogate saw a JOST stand that was offering a complete range of components and accessories for tippers and tankers. Many of the display vehicles from a large number of manufacturers were fitted with several products from the JOST World of brands, which includes JOST, ROCKINGER, TRIDEC and Edbro. 

As the only UK exhibition dedicated to maintenance, plant and asset management, Maintec has made an exciting new announcement in that Dr Jenifer Baxter and Paul Adams will deliver keynote sessions at this year’s event, which will take place at the NEC, Birmingham on 6th and 7th November 2018. 

The British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF), the trade body for the UK’s safety industry, has announced its support for Maintec, the UK’s only exhibition dedicated to maintenance, plant and asset management held at the NEC, Birmingham on 6th and 7th November 2018.  The BSIF, who provide support and guidance on a wide range of occupational safety issues will be attending Maintec 2018 in recognition of safety being a increasingly important addition to the maintenance engineers job responsibility.

It has been confirmed that Bosch Rexroth will be partnering the event Maintect, the UK’s only exhibition dedicated to maintenance, plant and asset management which will be held at the NEC, Birmingham 6-7th November 2018. Bosch Rexroth will be exhibiting at the event for the first time and join many other maintenance technology, asset management and plant equipment manufacturers and suppliers who have confirmed they will be returning to the show including; RMS, Megger, Fluke, Cordex, Shire Systems, Radwell, Pruftechnik and UE Systems.

  ESAB Welding & Cutting Products announced that its Renegade ET 300iP DC TIG/MMA inverter has received the Red Dot Award for product design in the Industrial Equipment, Machinery and Automation category.
