Volex Group plc, is working with Sony as a major supplier of the power supply cord set and AC power inlet for the worldwide roll-out of the 5th generation (5G) Blu-ray disc player/recorder. The supply deal is part of a larger agreement between the two organisations, which has seen Volex apply its significant global presence and design expertise to become one of Sony’s main powercord suppliers, delivering to stringent environmental benchmarks and manufacturing quality requirements.

Breaking the mould of typical industrial chillers the new Top Therm modular units from Rittal are integrated into a standard Rittal TS 8 enclosure system that can be stand alone or part of a suite of panels. Three modules, namely the hydraulic, cooling and electrical modules make up the system and the air intake can be changed depending on the application. A vertical arrangement means that space saving on site can be significant.
