ETTN-YTTN – Digital Temperature Switches with Clamp-on Sensor

ETTN-YTTN – Digital Temperature Switches with Clamp-on Sensor
With the digital temperature switches of the ETTN-YTTN range, Baumer’s product segment Process Instrumentation offers robust measuring instruments for temperature control for industrial process management. The devices are made completely of stainless steel and are particularly suitable for the use in severe industrial environments. A special design with a clamp-on sensor enables easy mounting at a pipe with two standard clips. It can measure the temperature of a process without direct contact to the medium.

OEM Servo Motor Controller with CAN

OEM Servo Motor Controller with CAN
QuickSilver has added a CAN option to its smallest (2”/52mm x 2.5”/63mm) most cost effective servo motor controller. CAN can be configured for peer-to-peer, master or slave which allows the controllers to share I/O and registers with other CANopen enabled SilverDust controllers or 3rd party CANopen devices (i.e. I/O blocks, encoders, PLCs…). For a multi-axis system, connect several MG-Cs, make one the master and let the others receive motion commands over CAN.

Encoders go wireless with BEI’s SwiftComm™ interface

Encoders go wireless with BEI’s SwiftComm™ interface
Real-time wireless control is finally a reality with BEI Industrial Encoders’ introduction of Swiftcomm, a wireless interface for encoders. SwiftComm was designed from the ground up for motion control applications, providing an extremely robust wireless signal in real time over a secure network. Unlike other wireless technology such as Wi-Fi, SwiftComm’s fast boot-up and transmission time allow it to seamlessly interface with existing control systems. Simply connect the SwiftComm transmitter to your encoder and the SwiftComm receiver to your control system and apply power. Costly and time-consuming cabling can now be a thing of the past.

SafetyBUS p input module is sealed to IP67

SafetyBUS p input module is sealed to IP67
Pilz Automation Technology is launching a new IP67 digital input module for use with SafetyBUS p, the safe, open industrial fieldbus system. This will help to save costs for machine builders and system integrators as it can be installed directly on the machine, thereby avoiding the need for the inputs to be connected inside a control cabinet. Not only can this eliminate the cost of a cabinet, but it also reduces the work involved in planning and installation, which helps to save valuable engineering time.
