The UK subsea sector will have the opportunity to strengthen its international presence at the largest oil and gas exhibition in Australasia next month. Industry body, Subsea UK, will be seeking to enhance its business networks between Australian and British companies to exploit current oil and gas developments at this year’s AOG (Australasia Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference), which takes place from 13th to 15th March 2019. 

A new initiative aimed at encouraging school pupils to consider a career at sea has been launched by industry body Subsea UK. The STEM Challenge, led by Subsea UK and supported by The Smallpeice Trust, will see teams of year nine students compete in a design-and-make challenge for the marine industries.

The key themes set for the 2017 Subsea Asia conference and exhibition, identifying new opportunities and understanding regional challenges are aiding the call for speakers at the show. Organised by Subsea UK, Subsea Asia will run from 13th-16th September alongside the Oil and Gas Indonesia 2017 conference in Jakarta.
