First Sensor presents the new cost-effective Sensortechnics WBI mass flow sensors with ranges of 200 sccm and 1 slpm. In addition to unidirectional devices the WBI series offers bidirectional sensors to measure flows in both directions.

Sensortechnics develops highly sensitive thermal mass flow sensors for air and gases with measuring ranges up to 500 l/min. For the demanding requirements of medical ventilators Sensortechnics offers custom solutions with two sensing elements featuring excellent resolution and accuracy over the complete measuring range. One sensor chip is located in the middle of the main stream for the measurement of very small flows around the zero flow point. A second chip is arranged in a bypass configuration and measures higher flows up to full scale. The flow sensors utilise a microcontroller for digital signal processing and can continuously switch between the two sensing elements. Sensortechnics’ mass flow sensors achieve very fast response times below 10 ms and offer a linear analog output signal and a digital I²C or SPI bus interface at the same time.

Sensortechnics’ LBA differential pressure sensors are based on thermal mass flow measurement of air or gas through a micro-flow channel integrated within the silicon sensor chip. Due to the highly sensitive measuring principle the LBA sensor achieves excellent resolution and offset stability. The LBA series now offers, ultra-low pressure ranges from 25 Pa Full Scale in addition to the existing 250 Pa and 500 Pa ranges. The LBA sensors perform fully analog on-chip CMOS signal conditioning to allow for linear and temperature compensated outputs with fast response times.

Sensortechnics’ HDI sensors measure absolute, differential or gage pressures in various ranges from 10 mbar up to 5 bar. The HDI series features 3 V supply versions which are ideally suitable for battery powered applications, e.g. in portable or handheld devices. HDI pressure sensors perform precision digital signal conditioning and achieve ultra high accuracies with an excellent Total Error Band (TEB) better than ±0.5 %FSS over a temperature range of 0…+85 °C.

Sensortechnics presents the new 2-way and 3-way Ten-X solenoid valves. The Ten-X series is available with integrated 'Hit and Hold' drive electronics which significantly reduces the power consumption and heat generation using pulse width modulation (PWM). These lightweight miniature valves are ideally suited for many portable, medical and analytical device applications.

Sensortechnics’ new KTE2000CS submersible OEM pressure sensors offer precision hydrostatic low level measurement from only 50 mbar (0.5 m water column) Full Scale. The KTE2000CS series consists of highly accurate capacitive ceramic pressure cells in a rugged stainless steel construction. They feature excellent long term stability and are compatible with many corrosive and aggressive liquids.
