Non-contact Torque Sensor Features Selectable Signal Outputs

Non-contact Torque Sensor Features Selectable Signal Outputs
Sensor Development Inc's model 01251 (IRT), now allows torque measurement signals to be processed in three different ways. The sensor output can be configured as frequency, analog or a 4-20 MA current loop. Signal filter response and output level signals are also adjustable under computer control. A Graphical User Interface Program is provided to allow rapid setting of the sensors parameters. These are high performance, non-contact sensors that utilize digital infrared telemetry to transmit the torque signal in dynamometer systems without the use of slip rings or rotary transformer systems.

Sensor Developments Inc. adds to it's line of anti-trap force measurement systems.

Sensor Developments Inc. adds to it's line of anti-trap force measurement systems.
The incorporation of power doors on new automobiles has necessitated control systems to prevent personal injury and trapping. In order to design, tune and validate these systems, accurate force measurements need to be made at critical locations of the doors travel. Designing innovative and easy to use fixturing for SDI’s popular model 90328 window pinch sensor has allowed engineers and technicians to make these measurements accurately and repeatably.

Model 01287 Motor Pulley Torque Sensor

Model 01287 Motor Pulley Torque Sensor
Sensor Developments Inc. is pleased to announce a new development in its rotary torque sensor line with our new motor pulley torque sensor, model 01287. This sensor features a highly accurate integrated sensing element, capable of resolving low torque levels while being exposed to high radial loads created by belt drive systems. Use it to replace a standard pulley system for equipment like engines, generators, fluid pumps, or other motor driven equipment and continuously monitor real time torque while in operation. This custom sensor can be adapted to a wide range of belt drive systems and can be installed in a dynamometer test stand or on vehicle.
