Laser Mark Solutions is a new sub-contract laser marking company recently formed by Dominick Watson, offering Laser Marking services across a wide range of products and applications. One of the first and most important decisions, for the Knottingley based company, was the selection of a Laser Marking System.

As new products and production processes are being developed, the use of lasers is often considered and in many cases when compared to alternative technologies the laser is found to be an indispensible tool. This has undoubtedly proven to be the case in the production of Mono and Polycrystalline solar cells.

DILAS is a world leader in the manufacture of high power semiconductor lasers and components, which are now marketed via the Rofin network worldwide. The latest product offering from DILAS, unveiled at the recent Fakuma exhibition in Germany, is a galvo scanner with an integrated pyrometer which can be used with the DILAS COMPACT Series product range.

More than 2,700 products from 35 countries were asked to be considered for the prestigious award whose recipients are determined by an international jury of experts.
