R+L Hydraulics has presented the LF torsional coupling series, suitable for a wide range of demanding applications in agricultural and construction machinery, fans, compressors, high-pressure pumps, wind turbines and marine industries. The torsional couplings are extremely versatile.

A line of spring couplings have been developed by Torsion Control Products (TCP) and are specifically for modern diesel engines as used, for example, in construction machines and agricultural vehicles. These products attenuate torsional vibration, isolate resonance, protect against overload and shock, reduce noise, improve the service life of bearings and gears, and increase system durability. The spring couplings from US manufacturer TCP further extend the comprehensive product range of the Timken Mechanical Power Transmission Group.

  Couplings for applications in hazardous areas have been introduced by R+L Hydraulics. The power transmission technology and hydraulic accessories company has various types of couplings available with ATEX certification, including gear couplings and disc couplings. A range of variants of these coupling types is offered, suitable for various potentially explosive atmosphere applications.

R+L Hydraulics have introduced its offline cooling units for hydraulic equipment, the OCN Series of offline cooling units. These units stand out due to their high cooling capacity, their low noise level as well as their compact and energy-efficient design. The use of optimised fans and electric motors of efficiency class IE2, means that the OCN offline cooling units are exceptionally energy-efficient.

The new Spidex couplings have been introduced by R+L Hydraulics for hydraulic applications. These elastic jaw couplings are axially mountable, fail-safe and maintenance free. They stand out particularly because of their vibration damping properties. Typical applications include pumps and compressors, agricultural and construction machines as well as wind turbines.

Presenting its new line-up of cast aluminium hydraulic oil reservoirs, R+L Hydraulics will be making an appearance at this year’s Motion, Drive & Automation in Hannover. The expanded series of oil reservoirs are available in capacities ranging from 3.5-130l. The cast aluminium reservoirs are exceptional due to their low weight, easy maintenance and an affordable price/quality ratio.

R+L Hydraulics now offers Lovejoy disc couplings with ATEX certification. The specialist for power transmission technology and hydraulic accessories is owned by American coupling manufacturer Lovejoy Inc. and distributes the couplings throughout Europe. Typical applications for the ATEX-certified disc couplings are pumps and compressors for use in hazardous areas, such as the petrochemical industry. 

R+L Hydraulics has developed a Web app for configuring and calculating hydraulics assemblies. The new program will be presented for the first time at this year’s Hannover Messe. The newly developed Fluidware App is an online application for calculating layouts of subassemblies, consisting of bell housing, shaft coupling and accessories. Uniting the functions of conventional configuration software with additional design, sales and service functions in a single application, the web app can be used either with a web browser on a desktop PC or on a tablet.     

A cast aluminium reservoir has been added to R+L Hydraulic's product range. With a nominal size of 130 litres, the hydraulic reservoir NG 130 has a usable volume of 123 litres and excels with its low weight and easy handling. In many applications it makes the use of an oil cooler superfluous.  

R+L Hydraulics has extended its product range of oil-air coolers. Sold under R+L’s own NewCool brand the ACN series coolers are now available in four additional sizes, which feature in the newly published catalogue. The new sizes ACN 70, 80, 90 and 100 cover cooling ratings of up to 144 kW, in parallel connection up to as much as 270 kW.
