Prima Power Laserdyne

Prima Power Laserdyne’s ShapeSoft feature simplifies the creation of programs for producing cone, oblique cone, fan, racetrack and a variety of shaped holes in a wide range of turbine engine components including blades, nozzle guide vanes, and combustors for aero-engine and industrial gas turbine applications.   ShapeSoft is one of the latest features of the LASERDYNE S94P control, which controls operation of the LASERDYNE 795 and LASERDYNE 430BD multi-axis laser systems.

AGC AeroComposites Derby is the first manufacturing facility in the UK to possess this high-speed, high-precision metal drilling, cutting and welding technology. 

LASERDYNE’S SmartShield welding nozzle provides protection against excessive oxidation in the weld area, enhancing laser welding capabilities of the 3 to 7 axes 795, 430 BD and 430 Vera laser processing systems. Previously published welding data shows that positive results are achieved with effective protection from oxygen in the atmosphere during laser welding of a range of materials, which are highly sensitive to oxidation.

Prima Power announced the introduction of its new LASERDYNE 430 Versa 3D fiber laser system with third generation BeamDirector. Versa is designed for the typical laser processing needs of tool rooms, model shops and R&D centers of manufacturers.
