CALROUTE is a firmware upgrade from PCB Piezotronics for the Portable Vibration Calibrator which delivers semi-automatic generation of test points to simplify calibration routines. It was developed by PCB’s sister company, The Modal Shop. Ideal for installations with many vibration sensors of the same model, CALROUTE enables repetitive calibration routines to be generated.

A range of modal shakers from The Modal Shop (TMS) that offers significant benefits to users with smaller sizes and easier set up has been introduced by PCB Piezotronics, The shaker range from TMS is specifically designed for use in modal applications unlike most conventional shakers that are intended for vibration testing installations.

PCB Piezotronics has launched two new hazardous area approved differential output charge accelerometers from IMI Sensors that are designed for use in high temperature applications. IMI developed the new sensors for gas turbine monitoring, commissioning of nuclear power plants and machinery monitoring in high temperature environments.

A new ½in (12mm) microphone and preamplifier system, model 378A07 designed for use in low frequency testing and ideal for studies ranging from wind turbines to natural events like tornadoes has been introduced by PCB Piezotronics. Low frequency measurements are commonly required for wind turbines, sonic booms, diesel engines and specialised loudspeaker systems to name a few.
