It has been announced that at SMTconnect in Nürnberg, 7th to 9th May, OMRON will present its intelligent, integrated and interactive automated inspection solutions that are hoping to be the driving force behind automotive quality standards, combined with robotics for flexible production. OMRON Corporation and Adept Technology, Inc announced that the two companies have entered into an agreement whereby OMRON will acquire Adept. 

OMRON has announced its entry into a stock purchase agreement to acquire a 100% stake in Delta Tau Data Systems of California (hereinafter referred to as “DT”), which will result in DT becoming a member of the OMRON Group. The acquisition is subject to customary conditions to closing, which Omron expects happen in early September, 2015.

Omron Automation and Safety will host three seminars and live automation demonstrations focused on correctly applying machine guarding safety, using machine vision for inspection and robotic positioning, and integrating total manufacturing control in a single controller using the Sysmac NJ controller and complementary motion, visualization, vision and safety products.

Omron Electronic Components Business – Europe is now offering to customise its D6F MEMS mass flow sensor products to suit individual customer requirements in terms of flow rate and non-corrosive gas type. The new customised sensor service is being presented at Sensor and Test in Nuremberg in May 2008. Omron can provide mass flow sensors suitable to measure any flow rate from 1 mm/s to 40 m/s or 1 LPM to 50 LPM of most non-corrosive gasses.
