National Physical Laboratory (NPL)

MACH 2020 is an important event in the manufacturing technologies community, bringing together customers and providers of machining innovation from across the world and providing the platform for attendees to share expertise and explore ways of working together, and that's what made the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) want to host the launch event.

With researchers from the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) and Royal Holloway, University of London, an international collaboration has come together and successfully demonstrated a quantum coherent effect in a new quantum device made out of continuous superconducting wire – the Charge Quantum Interference Device (CQUID).
