MESA International announces that STI-SlimSoft introduced a new initiative aimed at bringing Manufacturing Operations Management software to the cloud during the MESA North American Conference today. The intent, according to Andrew Waycott, CTO of STI-SlimSoft, is to open up the power of today's Operations Management solutions to a much broader set of customers. Most notably, he said, was that small and mid-sized manufacturers will be able to benefit from advanced capabilities often available only to larger enterprises.

MESA International's 2013 North American Conference is scheduled for April 22-24 in Greenville, SC. With the theme Show the world what MESA knows, this event, which will be held in conjunction with the IndustryWeek Best Plants Conference, is a meeting of manufacturers, producers, industry leaders and solution providers and is intended to help companies understand and leverage modern information technologies to change the game for their operations and their business.

MESA International announced today the creation of an Americas Board of Directors. This new structure is intended to provide greater insight into the needs of the Americas region and to give MESA the ability to focus on to the specific regional requirements and issues of its members.

MESA International and WBF announced today they have entered into a definitive agreement to merge their two organizations. Agreed upon by both Boards of Directors, this announcement was made earlier today at the ATPM Conference in The Woodlands, TX.
