maxon motor launches new high-speed motors that are configurable online. The new ECX brushless motors are quiet and feature very high efficiency. These brushless drives are ideal for use in hand-held surgical tools and industrial spindles.

Following a first installation at its subsidiary located in Sexau (Germany), an additional photovoltaic system within the maxon group just commenced operation at the headquarters in Sachseln (Switzerland).

Manufacturing of highly efficient photovoltaic systems is marching on. A Korean development sets a new benchmark not only in respect to the efficiency of the solar cell itself, but also condenses the sunlight and multiply concentrates it.
