Lapp Group UK announces new versions of its SKINTOP MS-SC-M brush cable gland with its unique brush connecting system for larger diameter cables. The new cable gland has been specially designed for use with copper braid screen cables with external diameters of between 9-68mm, and is now available in metric threads from 25mm up to 75mm.

Cables often have to be inserted in control cabinets or housings using what are generically described as cable entry systems. Lapp covers practically every application by offering two different systems - cable glands and connectors.

Heathrow’s Terminal 5 is scheduled to open to passengers on 27th March, 2008. A £4.3bn project, T5 will serve around 30 million passengers a year and is comprised of a core terminal building connected to two satellites.

Lapp is again exhibiting at the Hanover Fair (Hanover April 21st to 25th) and will use this year’s event to demonstrate its wide-ranging cable solutions capability. The theme the company has chosen across its two booths is “Service meets Quality”.
