Laird has developed a spindle screw pump that delivers consistent and reliable performance in Liquid Cooling Systems (LCS). Compared to centrifugal pumps, Laird’s spindle screw technology can pump fluids of higher viscosity without losing flow rate, and pressure changes have little impact on pump performance.

Laird has announced the SR-54 series bi-directional programmable controller for Thermoelectric Assemblies (TEAs) with built-in monitoring and control intelligence. Standard off-the-shelf controllers are too complex or do not have the basic alarm and control features required to run a TEA effectively. With the SR-54, Laird has created a ready-to-use, customisable, thermoelectric controller with built-in monitory and control intelligence.

Approved for use in highly explosive environments, the LRC-M1-IS and LRC-L1-IS intrinsically safe Operator Control Units (OCUs) have been introduced by Laird. They are suited for use in remote control systems for cranes, lifting equipment and other machines for environments including oil and gas rigs, petroleum processing and chemical engineering plants.

Laird Technologies will showcase solutions focused on increasing safety and productivity for the mining industry at next month’s CIM Convention & Exhibition. An industry leader in radio remote controls, Laird will display their SIAMnet underground communication system along with a variety of remote control solutions for mining.
