KEMET has announced the release of the industry’s first Multilayer Ceramic Capacitor (MLCC) in an EIA 0402 case size capable of reliable performance in environments up to 200°C.

KEMET has announced the introduction of its new Automotive Grade High Voltage Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors. Qualified to the Automotive Electronics Council’s AEC-Q200 standard, these surface mount capacitors are available in X7R and C0G dielectrics from 500VDC to 3000VDC and with capacitance values ranging from 10pF to 0.27µF.

KEMET has announced the expansion of its Polymer Tantalum portfolio. The KEMET T528 Low equivalent series resistance (ESR)/ equivalent series inductance (ESL) Series, T521 High Voltage Series and T520 Polymer Tantalum Series all feature new product enhancements.

KEMET High Voltage Flexible Termination Capacitors (HV FT-CAP) in X7R dielectric reduce ceramic chip failures in high voltage applications. Flexible Termination technology was developed to address flex cracks, the primary failure mode of surface mount multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs). This technology directs circuit board stress away from the ceramic body and into the termination area, therefore reducing the risk of mechanical damage to the component that can result in low insulation resistance or short circuit failures.

KEMET a leading manufacturer of tantalum, ceramic, aluminium, film, paper and electrolytic capacitors, has announced that its T110, T140 and T493 tantalum capacitor products lines are CECC Qualified for European military and aerospace applications.
