Higher temperature and oil tolerance as well as improved performance on passive materials are said to be the benefits of the latest generation of LOCTITE retaining compounds from Henkel. These anaerobic adhesives are formulated to secure bearings, bushes and cylindrical parts into housings and onto shafts.  They are high-strength products that form 100% contact between mating metal surfaces so they can carry high loads and are particularly effective in combination with shrink- or press fits.

A new range of Universal Structural Bonders has been added to Henkel's LOCTITE brand. The bonder's many attributes have been achieved through new, patented hybrid technology. This innovative approach substantially extends the application scope of these adhesives which also afford improved health and safety benefits. They combine the qualities of different adhesives to achieve bond strength, speed and durability providing improved performance on a variety of substrates and the versatility to solve many more design and assembly challenges.

In the convenient form of a stick, meaning a fast, clean and easy application is the, general purpose lubricant, LOCTITE LB 8065, from Henkel. LOCTITE Anti-Seize eases both assembly and disassembly of close fitting metal surfaces, such as interference fits and threaded joints, by reducing friction and wear on critical operating equipment.

Henkel Terostat silane modified polymers are great where an elastic bond is required between medium to large bond surfaces. They create friction-locked joints able to withstand dynamic loads. And as the stress is distributed evenly, material fatigue and failure is prevented. As a result these adhesives are widely used to bond any structures that need to withstand vibration such as washing machines, buses and trains.

Three of the most popular adhesives in the Loctite instant range are now temperature resistant up to 120◦C. This means that Loctite 401, 406 and 454 can now join almost any material in as little as two seconds across a much wider spectrum of applications.
