Thermal imaging cameras perform advanced inspections

Thermal imaging cameras perform advanced inspections
Thermal imaging cameras with Lock-In, Transient, and Pulse capabilities have been unveiled by FLIR Systems. The cameras perform advanced inspections such as Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) or stress mapping that resolve temperature differences as low as 1mK. NDT is a standard method used to evaluate the properties of a material, component or, system without causing damage.

Thermal imaging clamp meter speeds up troubleshooting

Thermal imaging clamp meter speeds up troubleshooting
The CM174 thermal imaging clamp meter from FLIR Systems features IGM (Infrared Guided Measurement) giving electrician an effective tool for quick and efficient troubleshooting. For a long time, electricians investigated complex compounded problems by chasing down the cause – one electrical measurement at a time. A lot of the time the true source of the problem was never found, leading to call-backs from customers asking the electrician to fix the same issue over and over again.

Gas imaging camera picks up Carbon Dioxide leaks

Gas imaging camera picks up Carbon Dioxide leaks
A high performance gas imaging camera from FLIR Systems has been designed to visually detect Carbon Dioxide (CO2) in real time. Incorporating a cooled Indium Antimonide (InSb) detector the FLIR GF343 is able to provide sensitive detection of even tiny CO2 gas leaks. Carbon Dioxide gas leaks are displayed as plumes of vapour in the camera's infrared image.
