EOS presents EOSPRINT 2.0, the newest version of its comprehensive AM (Additive Manufacturing) CAM environment. With data preparation software like Siemens NX, or Magics, the EOS software provides an intuitive user interface, offers customers greater freedom for application specific parameter optimisation and allows easier part optimisation - leading to increased productivity and part quality.

EOS is presenting M 100, a new system for DMLS (direct metal laser sintering), at this year's formnext show in Hall 3.1, stand F70. In terms of process and parts quality, the system is equivalent to the market-leading EOS M 290 metal system.

EOS has entered into a strategic cooperation with GF Machining Solutions to offer customers innovative solutions combining both companies’ technologies. 

The study will look at generating savings in the use of energy and raw materials - EOS, the world's leading manufacturer of laser-sintering systems, in collaboration with EADS Group’s research and technology production facility, EADS Innovation Works (IW), has begun a study to understand the potential of the direct metal laser-sintering (DMLS) process to generate savings in the use of energy and raw materials. It will help to develop a new range of manufacturing technologies that will integrate sustainability-relevant features into products and product manufacturing.
