Electromagnetic compatibility company, EMC Standards, is inviting bookings to a one-day training course about maintaining PROFIBUS and PROFINET reliability in modern industrial environments. The event will be held at the offices of Endress + Hauser in Manchester on 22nd November 2017 and is targeted at installers, systems integrators and the wider industrial datacomms community. The training course will be delivered by global EMC expert Keith Armstrong, of EMC Standards, and by PROFIBUS and PROFINET expert Peter Thomas, of Control Specialists.

A new webinar has been released by EMC Standards entitled Good EMgineering, Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), which can be found in the members’ area of its website. 

Imagine how angry your boss would be if you were to tell them a fifth of your output was being wasted and could not be accounted for, you wouldn’t be in the good books. Where would they think the wasted output was coming from? Most managers would blame human error in their workforce, but they could be jumping to conclusions. 

A new company has been set up in Staffordshire to educate design engineers, electrical engineers, plant managers and other electrical practitioners about electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) issues. Set up by expert electrical engineers, EMC Standards aims to refresh the way people learn about EMC issues, moving away from the old ‘bricks and mortar’ methods to a new service that reaches a wider audience.
